Describing what many overlook after working in the restaurant industry for over twenty years, Rachid holds an espresso in hand and emphasizes the crucial role of ambiance in his restaurant.
“Many people do not realize the impact of ambiance in a restaurant,” he says. His goal is to offer guests an escape from the daily hustle and bustle and give them the opportunity to truly enjoy their meal.
However, he has noticed over the years that this is not always easy, especially due to the presence of young children. “As cute as they are, little ones sometimes make a lot of noise.”
Rachid stresses that his decision does not stem from criticism of children themselves. “I have raised children myself, so I know how difficult it can be to dine out with a toddler.”
”But my pizzeria is not large, and young children can disrupt the experience of other guests.” He did not make the choice to not allow children under eight years old lightly.
For years, he has been seeking a balance between being family-friendly and providing a serene experience for his regular guests.
