Rachel Hazes’ brasserie in Torremolinos, Casa Hazes, has only been open for a few months, but there are already signs that Rachel may want to take a step back. Sources suggest that things are not going as planned.
Although the brasserie is packed every day, which seems positive at first glance, the success seems to be taking a toll on Rachel already.
In the podcast Strikt Privé, Evert Santegoeds reveals that Rachel is exhausting herself to keep the business running. He even suggests that her son, André Hazes, might need to intervene.
“I hear stories that things are not going quite well after all,” Santegoeds reveals. “Yes, the success is significant and the place is full, but Rachel is working herself to the bone.”
The brasserie opens early in the morning for breakfast, and Rachel is already there. Then comes lunch, and often Rachel stays for drinks in the evening.
